Two of the topics studied by members of The Augustan Society, Inc., are royalty & nobility and genealogy. The junction of these two form a special topic worthy of independent study. Thus it is appropriate for the Society to include a '''Royal & Noble Genealogy Study Group'''.
Presently inactive, this This group has at times generated and recorded royal lineages and genealogies that have been published in Society journals. They are a natural adjunct to the [[Descents from Antiquity Study Group]] and might offer occasional support to the [[Family of Augustans Study Group]].
The first task of such a revived This group would is presently dormant, but may be revived by any interested Member by petition to create a Charter to define the scope [[Dean of their studiesStudies]].
