The Society of Descendants of Ireland (SDI) is a dependency of The Augustan Society, Inc. An Administrator '''SDI Clerk''' is assigned to manage the affairs of this lineage group, normally from [[Headquarters Staff]].
The duties of the SDI Administrator Clerk include:
* Preparing suitable petitions for membership;
* Performing the duties of the Dean of the SDI when such office is vacant;
* Advising the [[President]] on suitable candidates for that office; and
* Other administrative, clerical, and ceremonial clerical duties as may be required.
