The Society of Descendants of the Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem is a dependency of The Augustan Society, Inc. An Administrator '''SDLKJ Clerk''', usually a member of [[Headquarters Staff]], is assigned to manage the affairs of this lineage group.(This office was previously titled "SDLKJ Administrator".)
The duties of the SDLKJ Administrator Clerk include:
* Preparing suitable petitions for membership;
* Ruling on submitted claims of pilgrimage to the Holy Lands;
* Corresponding with petitioners about their petition, lineage, chivalric membership, and pilgrimage;
* Upon lineage approval, inducting petitioners into membership, including creating and mailing a certificate of membership and a letter from the [[SDLKJ Deanof the SDLKJ]] if available, or from the Administrator;
* Notifying the [[Custodian of Insignia]] to send appropriate insignia;
* Supporting the SDLKJ Deanof the SDLKJ, when such office is filled;* Performing the duties of the SDLKJ Dean of the SDLKJ when such office is vacant;
* Advising the [[President]] on suitable candidates for that office; and
* Other administrative, clerical, and ceremonial clerical duties as may be required.
