The duties of the '''Treasurer ''' of The Augustan Society, Inc., as itemized in Section 5.10 of the [[By-Laws]] are to:
# Have charge and custody of and be responsible for, all funds and securities of the corporation, and deposit all such funds in the name of the corporation in such banks, trust companies, or other depositories as shall be selected by the [[Board|Board of Directors]].
* Ensure that all governmental tax forms are filed in a timely manner;
* Nominate an [[Assistant Treasurer]]for election by the Board;* Nominate an [[Investment Manager]]for election by the Board;
* Appoint such other Assistant Treasurers for such purposes as may be felt needed; and
* Serve as Chairman of the [[Finance Committee]], appointing to it such additional members as he may see fit.
