Eagle Grand Chancellor

The officers of the Order of the Augustan Eagle, a dependency of The Augustan Society, Inc., include an Eagle Grand Chancellor.
According to the Rule of the Order, this officer is appointed by the Chief of the Order, confirmed by the Board, and serves at the pleasure of the former.
Statutory duties include:
- Service on the Eagle Council
- Serving as the chief administrative officer of the Order
- Supervising the work done by Headquarters Staff on behalf of the Order
- When one-man rule has been implemented, it may be delegated to this officer, at which point he assumes all the authority and duties of both the Chief of the Order and the Eagle Council.
Presumed duties include:
- Presiding at meetings when the Chief of the Order and Eagle Grand Marshal are not in attendance
