* To succeed to the office of ''Magister Rosae'' when the incumbent leaves office before his successor is elected;
* To call, at need, a special meeting of the Rose Council to consider removing the ''Magister Rose'' from membership and office for "conduct contrary to the interests of the Noble Company and/or injurious to its reputation"; and
* To perform such other functions and tasks as the ''Magister Rosae'' may request.
