One of the primary topics studied by members of The Augustan Society, Inc., is genealogy, and a significant subset of that topic, especially for American genealogists, is English genealogy and immigration. Thus it is appropriate for the Society to include an English Genealogy Study Group.
Presently inactive, this group was once the English Research Committee, a group large enough to publish it's own magazine, The English Genealogist. The group may be revived at the request of any Member in Good Standing.
The first task of such a revived group would be to create a Charter to define the scope of their studies.
