The Augustan Society, Inc., recognizes Orders of Chivalry and Titles of Royalty and Nobility, all of which are necessarily dependent upon a legitimate fons honorum. Thus it is appropriate that the Society have a procedure for review and Recognition of Fontes Honorum.

Responsibility for review of proposed recognition lies with the Royalty & Nobility Committee. They have established a House Recognition Procedure that details the process they will follow.

Fees are normally charged for such recognition, but the Royalty & Nobility Chairman, at his sole discretion, may waive such fees when the petition is submitted by a Director or a member of the Royalty & Nobility Committee. The Chairman must petition the Board for waiver or reduction of fees when the above conditions are not met.
