Two of the topics studied by members of The Augustan Society, Inc., are royalty & nobility and genealogy. The junction of these two form a special topic worthy of independent study. Thus it is appropriate for the Society to include a Royal & Noble Genealogy Study Group.

This group has at times generated and recorded royal lineages and genealogies that have been published in Society journals. They are a natural adjunct to the Family of Augustans Study Group.

This group is presently dormant, but may be revived by any interested Member by petition to the Dean of Studies.

The first task of such a revived group would be to create a Charter to define the scope of their studies.
