One of the primary topics studied by members of The Augustan Society, Inc., is genealogy, and a significant subset of that topic, especially for American genealogists, is French genealogy and immigration. Thus it is appropriate for the Society to include an French Genealogy Study Group.
This group was once a committee large enough to publish it's own magazine, French Genealogist.
This group is presently dormant, but may be revived by any interested Member by petition to the Dean of Studies.
The first task of such a revived group would be to create a Charter to define the scope of their studies.
