The publications of The Augustan Society, Inc., including especially The Augustan Omnibus, are deserving of some care in their artistic arrangement and style. This duty has been delegated to the Omnibus Art Director, who is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the Omnibus Editor.
The Art Director is responsible for finding appropriate supplemental artwork for all the articles that appear in the Omnibus. This includes cover art, as well as art to support various articles.
Like all contributors, the Art Director to be aware of the copyright of any items used. A strong preference for images in the public domain or available under Creative Commons or other open source copyrights.
The Art Director is also responsible for the overall look and organization of the magazine, including fonts, text sizes, the ratio of images to text, suitable use of white space, etc.
