The heraldic activities of The Augustan Society, Inc., are gathered informally into the Heraldry Department under the nominal direction of the Justiciar General (as the Chairman of the Heraldry Committee is styled). Web page is here.

Other programs that perhaps should be assigned to the Heraldry Department, but for lack of interest, are:
- Augustan Society Roll of Arms, presently assigned to the Communications Department
- Rose Roll of Arms, presently assigned to the Communications Department
- Heraldry Index, presently assigned to the Heraldry Index Study Group
- Online Armorial, presently assigned to the Online Armorial and Ordinary Study Group*
- Ordinary of Arms, presently assigned to the Online Armorial and Ordinary Study Group*
* These two projects are presently conjoined.
The former Arms Registration Sub-Committee was merged into the Heraldry Committee in 2016.
