One of the subjects of the members of The Augustan Society, Inc., is anthropology. Thus it is appropriate for the Society to include an Anthropology Study Group.

This group has at times been linked with the Archaeology Study Group as the Anthropology & Archaeology Study Group. Such combinations are routinely made and separated by the Dean of Studies as the interests of the membership dictate.

This group is presently dormant, but may be revived by any interested Member by petition to the Dean of Studies.

The first task of such a revived group would be to create a Charter to define the scope of their studies.
