Eagle Grand Chancellor

The officers of the Order of the Augustan Eagle, a dependency of The Augustan Society, Inc., include an Eagle Grand Chancellor.

According to the Rule of the Order, this officer is appointed by the Chief of the Order, confirmed by the Board, and serves at the pleasure of the former.

Statutory duties include:

• Service on the Eagle Council
• Serving as the chief administrative officer of the Order
• Supervision the work of the Eagle Administrator, who is normally one of the Consuls

Presumed duties include:

• Presiding at meetings when the Chief of the Order and Grand Marshal are not in attendance
