Superintendent of the Chapel of the Rose

The officers of the Noble Company of the Rose, a dependency of The Augustan Society, Inc., include a Superintendent of the Chapel of the Rose.

According to the Rule of the Company, this officer is appointed by the Magister Rosae, confirmed by the Board, and serves at the pleasure of the former.

Statutory duties include:

1. Service on the Council of the Noble Company

Presumed duties include:

1. Overseeing the Chapel of the Rose when such exists
2. Proposing an annual budget and a target for the Rose Chapel Fund to the Council (when possible), or to the Finance Committee

Note: The Chapel of the Rose has historically been located within the Society's Headquarters, but this is not required.
