Genealogy is one of the principle topics studied by members of The Augustan Society, Inc., and Ancient Genealogy has unique demands which render it a worthy sub-set of the field. Thus it is appropriate for there to be an Ancient Genealogy Study Group.

Presently inactive, this group has at times generated and recorded lineages from ancient times, and published them in Society journals. They are a natural adjunct to the Descents from Antiquity Study Group.

This group may be reactivated upon the interest of any Member in Good Standing. The first task of such a revived group would be to create a Charter to define the scope of their studies.
