CitySoft User Guide

The primary point of contact with both members and the public is the Main Web Site, presently hosted at CitySoft. This is maintained by the Webmaster, assisted by the Assistant Webmaster, Assistant Webmaster for the Store, and the Coordinatgor of the Online Armorial & Ordinary Study Group. The User Guide provided by CitySoft being obsolete and incomplete, it is thus necessary that a CitySoft User Guide be created to guide staff.

Note that this User Guide provides instructions for how to perform specific tasks. It is not comprehensive. For detailed documentation, please see the CitySoft Admin Guide.

The following list of tasks is being created ad hoc, and users with a need for additional tasks may request same from the Assistant Webmaster.

Forum Moderation

To moderate messages submitted to the forum:

1. Login with admin rights.
2. Click ⊞ (SquaredPlus) from the section bar at the top of the page.
3. Click [Forumd] in main section.
4. If the left toolbar is not visible, click >> to show it.
5. Click [Manage Messages] in the left toolbar.
6. Click on the [Pending] tab at the top of the main section.
7. This will display a list of messages submitted. Mark them Approved or Deleted as appropriate.
