The Guide to Orders of Chivalry by Founder Rodney Hartwell was a successful publication in its day, and the data it compiled on various orders of chivalry was not particularly easy to find in that pre-internet age.

Today, the passage of time has made so much of the content obsolete or incorrect that it has been withdrawn from sale.

The Chivalry Committee has taken on the task of revising and updating this publication for a second edition.

One goal is to modularize the publication so that the chapter on each Order stands alone (and indeed, may be published as an article in The Augustan Omnibus). Thus as each is written or updated, the publication's master file can be quickly updated to match. The print-on-demand approach now employed will thus allow each copy sold to include the most recent information available.
