Genealogy is one of the primary subjects studied by members of The Augustan Society, Inc., and medieval genealogy has it's own unique challenges and resources. Thus it is appropriate that there be a Medieval Genealogy Study Group to addresses this.

Presently inactive, this group has at times generated a number of articles for The Augustan Omnibus, and is a natural ally of the Descents from Antiquity Study Group.

Note that this is separate from the Genealogy Committee and the History Committee.

This group may be reactivated upon the interest of any Member in Good Standing. The first task of such a revived group would be to create a Charter to define the scope of their studies.
