Eagle Vice-Chancellor

The officers of the Order of the Augustan Eagle, a dependency of The Augustan Society, Inc., include an Eagle Vice-Chancellor.
According to the Rule of the Order, this officer is appointed by the Chief of the Order, confirmed by the Board, and serves at the pleasure of the former.
Statutory duties include:
- Service on the Eagle Council
- Serving as an assistant to the chief administrative officer of the Order, the Eagle Grand Chancellor
- Automatically succeeds to the office of Eagle Grand Chancellor in the event that office becomes vacant or the officer is unable to perform his duties, provided he has at least one year in office at the time of succession.
Presumed duties include:
- Learning the duties of the Eagle Grand Chancellor for eventual succession
