The purpose of the First Peoples Study Group of The Augustan Society, Inc., is to explore the native cultures of the Americas.
In the past, this group was quite active, and sponsored the First Peoples collection in the Library, the donation of artifacts and reproductions, and the occasional article for The Augustan Omnibus.
Current projects of this committee, as reported to Headquarters Staff, are:
- Drafting a charter for review and approval by the Dean of Studies and the Board.
- Designing a logo in consultation with the Heraldry Committee.
