The [[Order of the Augustan Eagle]](OAE), a dependency of The Augustan Society, Inc., collects entry fees and dues, sells insignia, and the monies collected and held are largely placed in a General Fund.
Monies are normally collected by the [[Eagle Assistant Receiver General]] who is usually the [[Assistant Treasurer]], and deposited with funds of the Society, a record being kept of the amount owed to the OrderOAE. Thus there is no specific bank account identified with this fund.
The Order OAE also maintains a number of special funds, and amounts are placed in them by budget allocation, actions of the [[Eagle Council]], sales of insignia, and designated donations. These funds are not available to pay the general obligations of the OrderOAE, but are restricted to the purposes specified.
