The Augustan Society, Inc., will create and issue a Membership Card to each member upon request. The Board or Membership Committee may direct that cards be issued every year upon renewal.
Each card will include:
- The registered name of the member, with such titles and postnominals as have been recognized. These may be abbreviated to fit the card.
- The member's Membership Number;
- The expiration date of the membership. This may be abbreviated to the year of expiration, and for Life Members it will be simply "Life".
- The Badge of the Society
- The full name of the Society: "The Augustan Society, Inc."
- The signature of the issuing officer, likely one who is part of the Headquarters Staff.
Replacement cards for any given expiration date will be provided on request for a fee equal to the shipping fee (presently $4). Such fee may be waived if the card can be sent with a regular mailing.
