One of the specialty publications of The Augustan Society, Inc., was the Irish-American Genealogist, variously titled Irish Genealogical Helper, Irish-American Helper, and "Irish Research Committee, and occasionally published as part of The Augustan Society Omnibus.

The Irish-American Genealogist published 36 issues between 1974 and 1996, inclusive. They were 8½×11", variously staple-bound or included in the perfect-bound Augustan Society Omnibus, and ranged from 8 to 32 pages. All are available from the Augustan Society Online Store.

At times, it was sponsored and edited by the Order of Descendants of Ireland, now Society of Descendants of Ireland, or the Irish Genealogy Committee. Subject material is now carried in The Augustan Omnibus.
