There was, at one point, the intention to create the office of Museum Curator under the direction of the President. With the termination of the Museum of The Augustan Society, Inc., this office is now terminated.
Headquarters Staff have been assigned the duty of sorting through the museum collection and selling or discarding most of the collection. At present, they consider this a low priority, and hope for a local volunteer to assist. Said volunteer may be given the title of Museum Curator if one is desired. A volunteer interested only in the Chapel collection may be given the title Assistant Curator for Chapel Holdings. Whoever does this work is expected to coordinate with the Superintendent of the Chapel of the Rose on items appropriate for use there, notwithstanding that the Chapel may not have physical existence at this time. |
