The Order of the Augustan Eagle, a dependency of The Augustan Society, Inc., collects entry fees and dues, sells insignia, and the monies collected and held are largely placed in a General Fund.

Monies are normally collected by the Eagle Assistant Receiver General who is usually the Assistant Treasurer, and deposited with funds of the Society, a record being kept of the amount owed to the Order. Thus there is no specific bank account identified with this fund.

The Order also maintains a number of special funds, and amounts are placed in them by budget allocation, actions of the Eagle Council, sales of insignia, and designated donations. These funds are not available to pay the general obligations of the Order, but are restricted to the purposes specified.
