It is the charter of Gnostic Chivalry Study Group of The Augustan Society, Inc., to explore, understand, and document the history of how chivalry is expressed within the Gnostic Revival. This includes any chivalric orders that have been conferred to Gnostic clergy and ecclesiastical decorations awarded to laity. The work of this project includes, but is not limited to, participating in orders associated with any valid Gnostic church and/or research pertaining to chivalry and the Gnostic Revival. Such churches must be maintained by clergy in possession of a valid line of Apostolic Succession to be considered viable for this project.
This Study Group is lead by a Coordinator who is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the Dean of Studies.
Current projects of this Study Group are:
- Designing a logo in consultation with the Heraldry Committee; and
- Drafting copy for the main website.
