Rose Herald

The Noble Company of the Rose, a subsidiary of The Augustan Society, Inc., includes the office of Rose Herald, who is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the Magister Rosae, subject to confirmation by the Board.
Statutory duties include:
- Serving as a member of the Rose Council.
Duties presumed are management of the heraldic affairs of the Noble Company. These might be expected to include:
- Confirming the armigerous status of potential members;
- Assisting potential members and Rose Associate Members with the registration of their arms with the Society;
- Maintaining a record of the arms of all Members and Associates of the Noble Company; and
- Editing the Rose Roll of Arms in cooperation with the Communications Department.
