Eagle Receiver General

The officers of the Order of the Augustan Eagle, a dependency of The Augustan Society, Inc., include an Eagle Receiver General.

According to the Rule of the Order, this officer is appointed by the Chief of the Order, confirmed by the Board, and serves at the pleasure of the former.

Statutory duties include:

• Service on the Eagle Council
• Service on the Finance Committee

Presumed duties include:

• Overseeing the financial affairs of the Order
• Overseeing the office of Eagle Assistant Receiver General
• Proposing an annual budget to the Council (when possible), or to the Finance Committee with the concurrence of the Chief of the Order

Note: The office of Eagle Assistant Receiver General is normally filled by the Assistant Treasurer.
