Rose Herald

The Noble Company of the Rose, a subsidiary of The Augustan Society, Inc., includes the office of Rose Herald, who is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the [Magister Rosae]], subject to confirmation by the Board.
Statutory duties include:
- Serving as a member of the Rose Council.
Duties presumed are management of the heraldic affairs of the Noble Company. These might be expected to include:
- Confirming the armigerous status of potential members;
- Assisting potential members and Associate Members with the registration of their arms with the Society;
- Maintaining a record of the arms of all Members and Associates of the Noble Company; and
- Editing the Rose Roll of Arms in cooperation with the Communications Department.
The Sub-Group Governance Committee is developing a more thorough job description for this office.
