Rose Training Officer
The Noble Company of the Rose, a dependency of The Augustan Society, Inc., is developing a Knights Training Program. This is led by a Rose Training Officer who is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the Magister Rosae. He may create a Knights Training Committee and appoint to it such members of the Noble Company as he sees fit. (If he does so, the Magister Rosae and Headquarters Staff are to be ex officio members.)
The program is to be based on Vigil: A Knight's Training Program, and one hopes that this officer will be heavily involved in the development of that volume. It may be prudent to name this officer the editor of same, which has been done in the past.
The first goal is to create a training program, and administer it on a trial basis to willing members of the Noble Company. Once found acceptable, it may be made a requirement of full membership in the Noble Company, with those not yet passing the program being restricted to the rank of Esquire.
