Given that The Augustan Society, Inc., is named for Caesar Augustus and the civilization he is credited with building, it is entirely appropriate for the Society to include an Age of Augustus Study Group.

This group has, at times, been included within the Greco-Roman Study Group. Such combinations are routinely made and separated as the interests of the membership dictate.

This group is presently dormant, but may be revived by any interested Member by petition to the Dean of Studies.

The first task of such a revived group would be to create a Charter to define the scope of their studies.
