The Augustan Society, Inc., has assigned the task of Registration of Arms to the Arms Registration Committee. It is under the direction of the Justiciar General (as the Chairman is styled), and he is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the Heraldry Committee Chairman. The web page that addresses this topic is here.

Members of the Committee include:

Justiciar General, the style of the chairman Deputy Justiciar General, the style of the vice-chairman Arms Chancellor, the style of the secretary Vice-Justiciars for each of the various nations or traditions of heraldry Heraldic Artists And, ex officio, the President and Assistant Secretary

Note that the registration of arms is the only function of this Committee, all other tasks, including consultation, having been deliberately omitted from its charter.
