In order to broadly engage with the public, and to inform potential members of the existence of The Augustan Society, Inc., a Facebook account has been established in the name of the Society.
This site is managed by the Facebook Moderator, who is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the Social Media Chairman (or lacking one, the Editor-in-Chief).
At minimum, the page should be maintained at some low level so that the name is not usurped by others. Optimally, it would have regular postings, and feed suitable material to the Augustæum Editor for his consideration.
