Rose Receiver General

The officers of the Noble Company of the Rose, a dependency of The Augustan Society, Inc., include a Rose Receiver General.

According to the Rule of the Company, this officer is appointed by the Magister Rosae, confirmed by the Board, and serves at the pleasure of the former.

Statutory duties include:

1. Service on the Council of the Noble Company
2. Service on the Finance Committee

Presumed duties include:

1. Overseeing the financial affairs of the Noble Company
2. Overseeing the office of Assistant Rose Receiver General
3. Proposing an annual budget to the Coucil (when possible), or to the Finance Committee

Note: The office of Assistant Rose Receiver General is normally filled by the Assistant Treasurer.
