The Noble Company of the Rose, a dependency of The Augustan Society, Inc., has the de facto office of Rose Assistant Chancellor. He is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the Rose Chancellor. It is expected that this office will normally be held by a member of Headquarters Staff.
There are no statutory duties defined, but it is expected that this officer will be delegated most or all of the duties attached to the office of Rose Chancellor.
