Fundraising Committee

The Fundraising Committee of The Augustan Society, Inc., is responsible for all fundraising activities, and for advising on suitable pricing and profit margins for all products offered by the Society. It is normally chaired by the Treasurer or a Fundraising Chairman who is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the Treasurer.

At present, the Treasurer being unable to shoulder this duty, the entire Board of Directors have been seated as a Committee-of-the-Whole to serve as the Fundraising Committee, with the President serving as Chairman.

Other programs may exist from time to time, and the Sub-Groups may operate their own fundraising programs outside the control of this Committee.

To date, the Budget has been adopted with fundraising goals that are set without consulting this Committee, possibly leading to unrealistic goals, but as the Board and Committee presently have identical membership, there is no recourse.
