Links to Websites of Interest
The Main Website of The Augustan Society, Inc., includes a list of Links to Websites of Interest. This supports the Society's need for outreach to other organizations, researchers, and companies in the field, and invites them to reciprocate, aiding recruitment. It also provides a service to readers by screening entries on the list, at some level.
The list is divided into the five main subject categories of the Society: Chivalry, Genealogy, Heraldry, History, and Royalty & Nobility (plus a small section of practical links). It may prove prudent in future to create either sub-categories or special categories for Study Groups or Sub-Groups.
As the Webmaster my not be fully conversant with all of these subject areas, and as he may be presumed to be busy enough without searching for new links, it is the responsibility of each major Committee to make recommendations on what links should be added or removed. The Webmaster will test each link not less often than annually to ensure it is still up, relevant, and the URL is correct.
