Society Arms and Logos

The Augustan Society, Inc., needs heraldic (or quasi-heraldic) symbology, both for identification of the Society as a whole, and for some of its offices and subdivisions. The task of creating and registering Society Arms and Logos is assigned to the Heraldry Committee.

Note: This page is recently edited as a proposed revision of the policy on subgroup arms and logos. It has not yet been approved by the Justiciar General. It will take effect upon his approval or on 8 December 2018.

To provide some consistency and proportionality for Society arms and logos, the following hierarchy is established:

1. Society: Shield, crest, motto, supporters, and compartment.
